Thank you Inde, you just saved me from a major flaming. Anways i still think that the See Who Ya play thread is what is really dragging this sight down. Pictures always drag bandwidth down. We need to try to get rid of useless ones.

That would help too. Too many useless screensots. Especially of armor. They take them from every angle. Just wiki it.

I'm thinking that the ones that are like these should be deleted:
"LOOK AT THIS NOOB LOL"
"Poor pet.." *has pet stuck under flag*
"Guild won battle in 3 minutes lawl"
"Stupid Kurzicks/Luxons"

Regarding See who ya play, you will notice that we have cleaned up the thread and removed all of the approx. 4.5K posts that did not actually contain pictures.

I say just be more strict with the modding. Threads like the Off Topic Thread are just slow moving AIM chatrooms or IRC channels. All of the threads end up being a few people talking to each other, just in different ways.
Get people to just start using the IRC channel, or possibly get multiple channels, since who knows what the current IRC people would do if a swarm of Off Topic posters swarmed in all at once.
So basically strict modding would just mean putting a foot down and saying that slow moving IM conversations are considered spam. Since they are imo. I think a post should be deleted if you can read it and say, "Will anyone actually miss this if it is deleted?" And if you answer 'no' to that question, delete it.
There's my two cents.

yeah. just because the name of the forum is off-topic doesn't mean you should let the threads go off topic.

I noticed that you had cleaned up the See Who Ya Play thread Dral. Very nice, dont know if it helped yet but its nice to know its cleaned out. I tried using IRC but it would just be one more program to slow down my computer. I already have enough crap on here, im dont want to put another program to slow it down.

Yes that too but if we were to have a real discussion thread it needs to be watched for both spamming and flaming. Spamming will be the hardest to watch. They will have to qualify it as posting 1 or 2 words. Or saying something that really doesnt add to a topic or make a new one.

All other threads aside, I think that two of almost everyone's most favorite games: Rock paper scisors and corrupt wish should be kept, correct?

1. I would say as many as anyone wants, just as long as they aren't really similar to another, or a duplicate of it.
2. Sure, but things like the thread 'the off topic thread part trios' should definatly be made again, as it has been.
3. start making threads on intresting subjects that people like to talk about - other then the games. Maybe a moderator or someone of the sort could make them, and then later regular members would get the idea and make them.
